32-PIANOS MUSIC

Composition from this Sound Experience Motivated by:

Ode to The Brave New World: -Living in Kiev during the ´Orange Revolution´ and thinking of what kind of world I was bringing my son (Odin) into. My wife (Yevgenia) was pregnant at the time. -Listeneing to the TV blasts, Propaganda and Politics in the streets, blood at my entrance door... The soul of the people in Independence Square. Frozen bottles of Pepper Voditchka for $2,- a litter. -This is what came out upon reflection of an echo happening today. The never-ending plight of humanity. This is not ment to be music, this is ment to be experience.

Special Warm, BIG thank you to Henrik Skram, Nicholai Winge and Viking Gang of Superior Sound Tech, and Vocalist Valery Geffner (ValVal) for believing and helping to inspire the sound part of this production to completion.

Alao Very Special thank you for help with Amazing Fabrication and Instal to Nicolas Bauta and Ed Isaac Castillo.

  • 32-PIANOS: BERLIN LIVE FULL ALBUM W/ 32-P Book related visuals

Concept was to build a wall that UNITES people through ART, instead of being SEPERATED by MEDIA and POLITICS. BROKEN pianos were RE-PURPOUSED and ELECTRIFIED to create a WALL OF MUSIC 16m long by 2m high. All deconstruction and reconstruction sounds were recorded along with sounds sampled from the public audience. A sign that said `TOUCH ME´was placed in front of the sculpture. The 32-PIANO sculpture was donated to the garden of a cultural center located in Mite. For more information order a copy of the 32-P BOOK :) -by Adm den Haene
